In my infinite wisdom...I erased my photos and I have no idea how to get them back!!!! In trying to do so, I may have archived my entire blog site here at Blogger. Oy. That will teach me to mess with technology in the middle of the night.
Not to mention, I was awakened at 3am when I realized that the HUGE cup of Hibiscus tea with a mountain of sugar in it was no longer on my bedside table but indeed it was on my wooden (thank God) floor spread entirely under my BED!
So, you can guess what I have been doing for the past few hours... mopping and wiping down all the cords that run under my electric bed. Not a good way to start the day at all.
I am off to finish the floor and then I will try to fix the blog again if it is still here. After I make myself another cup of tea! Good morning to you all...

Lyme Lens is still blogging....
Hello everyone,
I just wanted you to know that I am still blogging regularly but my site is now secured so it starts with https:// instead of http:// when you enter in the www.lymelens.com. I wish that I could be blogging everywhere but it's just not possible. I will look to see if there is a link to send my posts over here automatically because right now they are going to Facebook, Twitter and individual email's of people who sign up on the website. I will try to get you all connected over here in Blogger world as soon as possible! Thanks for still being here...

This is not the first time...
Hello everyone out there in blogging land. My name is Lyme Lens and I have been writing a blog for...hmmmm, almost 2 years now, I think. I just haven't been writing it here per se.
It's kinda hard to blog on so many social media sites when you are one tiny person who happens to be chronically ill with Lyme Disease lying in bed 24 hours a day. I do what I can but I am no master at the computer so I am just now learning how to tie some of these sites together to do the work for me.
I haven't figured out yet how to make the site come over here so for now, if you want to check out my blog please come and visit me at www.LymeLens.com to see what it's all about. You can also find me on twitter at Lyme Lens too. Facebook gave me some trouble because they wouldn't give me two sites (a personal one and one for Lyme Lens) so I am still working on that.
I try to write about what it feels like to be a person who was working a full time job after finishing graduate school, in the midst of a growing career when I was struck down with Chronic Lyme Disease and the toll it has taken on my life. I also write about what it is like for all of us with this disease because we are all from different age brackets and all different stages of lifestyles.
I blog about how we manage the pain, the lack of acknowledgment from doctors that our illness even exists and the fact that nothing is covered by our health insurance companies so we have to pay cash for all of our treatment. I talk about how our families have given up everything to take care of us, despite losing our jobs, our homes, our friends, our hobbies and turning into people they don't even recognize anymore.
But the blog is not all gloom and doom. I also talk about other stuff too. I liked to take pictures before I got really sick so I have loads of them stored on my computer. Every chance I get, I will go through the archives and add some photos to my blogs that go along with the theme of the story for that post. Sometimes there are even some current photos if I can get up and around! Hence the name Lyme Lens. You are gonna see and hear what my life is like through my eyes, through my "lens."
So, I was trying to spruce up this blog site today and when it said that I had NO posts I said, "You've gotta be kidding me! I've written over 85 blogs posts on my site and you mean to tell me they are not transferring over here?" Apparently not. So, I intend to try and fix it. For now you can hop on over to www.LymeLens.com and take a look. I would love to meet you!! Thanks for reading.
